Thailand´s National Parks are defined as an area

that contains natural resources of ecological importance or unique beauty,

or flora and fauna of special importance

 

National parks are protected areas of land because  they have

unspoilt landscapes and a diverse number of native plants and animals.

There are 147 national parks in Thailand, 58 wildlife sanctuaries,

67 non-hunting areas, and 120 forest parks.

They cover almost 20 percent of the kingdom’s territory.

These parks offers a diverse range of flora and fauna,

home to important population of endangered species.

 

Thailand is so much more than beach and parties!

 

This is a wonderland full of surprises and amazing experiences

both on land and water.

Nature's fauna and wildlife are unique,

and much of this you can only experience in this country.

It is highly recommended to seek out one or more national parks

when you are in Thailand, you will not regret a second.

But be sure to leave the areas as you found them.

Do not waste garbage in nature and respect both plants and animals.
